The not-for-profit Waratah Park Nature Reserve Foundation (WPNRF) comprises volunteers committed to saving Waratah Park. The group is lobbying The Hon. Tony Kelly, Minister for Planning, Infrastructure and Lands, to ensure the site remains a nature park. Rich in cultural and historical significance and abundant in Australian flora and fauna, it is far too precious to our community to lose to developers.
The foundation’s vision is for the park to become a botanical landmark with extensive gardens, education facilities, an animal rehabilitation and wildlife care centre, picnic areas, walking trails and a Skippy Museum.
To realise this vision, we need your help.
Your support will be used to help us achieve our vision & will go to insuring that the park remains part of the Australian community for all to enjoy.
